I am feeling random today. my thoughts need to be numbered.
1) i ruined my nalgene water bottle because i forgot it in the freezer.
2) the new beck cd Guerro is really really good. guerro means white boy in spanish slang.
3) i have spent the last 7 hours alone.
4) i have been thinking a lot about silence. "these peace-ophobics, these noise-aholics........" (a prize goes to anyone who can name what thats from)

6) in 4 days i am going on a crash diet.
7) i'm going out for a walk.

what is it about makeovers that draws us. i confess that i am addicted to the makeover shows on the style network and bravo. they take this unattractive man or woman and re-do them from head to two. new color in the hair, new cut. new makeup. new clothes. they are still the same people on the inside, but changing their appearance does change them. what is it about that idea of re-inventing oneself that is so appealing? i don't really want to re-invent myself (more than i already do) but i think for me, these makeover shows represent hope. hope that people can change, even if its just on the shallow outward level.
if we can change how we look, what else can we change?

Has something ever happenend to you that makes your whole reason for living come to light with intense clarity? does a single event change people?
did the day i decide to say yes to something alter my life so drasticaly that it can never go back to what it was?
lately i have been thinking of those moments, where everything is suddenly crystal clear. the moments when you can get a glimpse of the big picture. When your breath is taken away by a simple realization that life will go on, and that you will be okay.
i like those moments even when they are birthed out of intense fears or worries.
I'm going to be okay!
